Dragon Ball Daima will reveal new features at the end of January

Dragon Ball Daimathe upcoming anime series from Dragon Ball which will celebrate 40 years of the work of Akira Toriyamawill debut in autumn 2024, but more information will be revealed at the end of January at a special event.

O Dragon Ball Battle Hour confirmed who has a special event planned for the day January 28th which will focus on more than just video games as a special panel will be held Dragon Ball Daima with the presence of the executive producer of Dragon Ball, Akio Iyoku.

In the ad we can read:

Dragon Ball executive producer Akio Iyoku will make a special appearance at the Dragon Ball Daima special panel. Mr. Iyoku will share behind-the-scenes information about the production of the Dragon Ball Daima anime, scheduled for release in fall 2024, as well as other exclusive information.

New artwork from Akira Toriyama himself will also be on display, so don’t miss out!

The direction of Dragon Ball Daima it’s from Yoshitaka Yashima (animation direction for Dragon Ball Super, Digimon franchise) and Aya Komaki (direction of the One Piece series, direction of Marie & Gali episodes), the character design is by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (Dragon Ball Z, Digimon franchise) and the argument is Yuuko Kakihara (Digimon Adventure tri., Urusei Yatsura 2022, Cells at Work!). The creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyamais credited for the story and character designs of the new anime.

It was confirmed that the veteran Masako Nozawa returns to interpret Son Goku.

The anime series Dragon Ball Super was shown from July 2015 to March 2018, consisting of 131 episodes. The anime film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero premiered in Japan in June 2022.

The phenomenon Dragon Ball began in 1984, when the well-known Japanese manga Akira Toriyama debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Since then, the manga’s popularity has continued to grow with an impressive record of 260 million copies sold around the world and increasing.
