Have you ever seen an aggressive price cut on any new generation product in the modern technology world? It’s almost rarer than winning Euromillions or EuroDreams! But… Every now and then… It really happens!
In this case, after Apple has gained even more market share, and even cut prices a little on some iPhone 15 models, everything indicates that Samsung will also lower prices, at least a little, in Europe.
Galaxy S24 will be cheaper!? It’s madness!
Therefore, as you may know, the new Galaxy S24 will be presented on January 17th, and should hit shelves before the end of that same month.
Samsung wants to bring forward its new generation launch to get a little closer to Apple, something that should be repeated in the coming years, we hope, for a launch much more on top of what the giant responsible for the iPhone does, in order to promote serious competition.
But what’s really interesting about all the leaks that have hit the Internet is the prices!
The new Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra could become much more affordable in Europe, an almost miracle, which is most likely due to the fact that Apple has lowered the price of the iPhone 15 Pro to €1,249 in some regions.
This is something that I think is really very important, in fact, I even think it is almost mandatory!
After all, in a year in which the design will not change anything special, the hardware will improve very little, and the big news is in the software (Artificial Intelligence)… It makes perfect sense for the giant Samsung to lower values to enter “war” mode. ”.
Especially if the rumors surrounding the big 2025 redesign are true.
Samsung needs to take the spotlight back to itself, while at the same time beating its old rival Apple.
What are the expected prices?
According to the most recent ‘leaks’.
- Galaxy S24 8/128GB -> €899 // 8/256GB -> €949
- Galaxy S24+ 12/256GB -> €1149 // 12/512GB: €1269
- Galaxy S24 Ultra 12/256GB -> €1399 // 12/512GB -> €1529 // 12/1TB -> €1809
- Note: Here we have to point out that the base version of the Galaxy S24 will have a slightly different list of specifications, with less memory, slower storage, and a different processor (Exynos 2400).
However, obviously, these prices will depend from region to region, and they are expected to rise a little in Portugal. After all, in addition to the higher VAT, we also have the law of private copying on top of the price of everything technology.
