Written by Thomas Delvin, Fede Alvarez, and Rodo Sayagues, this remake casts the likes of Mark Burnham as Leatherface, the antagonist who aims to terrorize the youngsters, Elsie Fisher as Lila, Sarah Yarkin as Melody, and many more. This movie is set in Texas, as the name implies. However, it stands at an average rating of 4.5/10 on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Adam Project
Starring Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Wilkinson, and more, this movie is a science-fiction comedy in which Ryan Reynolds, the fighter pilot from 2050, comes back in time and teams up with his younger self and father to save the future. The director of this movie is Shawn Levy, and it is rated PG-13. A solid 6/10 according to Rotten Tomatoes.
Apollo 101/2 A Space Age Childhood
Another fictional story, but this time animated. This movie follows the life of a 10-year-old boy in Houston in 1969, narrated by his older self and his fascinating journey to the moon. Directed by Richard Linklater, this stars Milo Coy as Stanley and Jack Black as Stanley. But beware of plot twists!

Against The Ice
This movie is based on a true story from 1909. Itβs about Ejnar Mikkelson, a Danish explorer, and his 6-member expedition to Greenland. Their mission was simple, determine whether it was a singular land mass or not, but something went wrong. Starring Joe Cole as Iver Iverson and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Ejnar Mikkelson, Against the ice is directed by Peter Flint. It leaves a lasting impact on the viewer. Rotten Tomatoes rated this as a 6/10.
Black Crab
Written and directed byΒ Adam Berg, this action thriller movie follows a group of soldiers, in times of war, tasked with delivering a packet that is said to have the power to end the war. The soldiers must skate over ice behind enemy lines to achieve their objective. Starring Noomi Rapace as Edh, Aliette Opheim as Forsberg, Dar Salim as Malik, and the likes, Black Crab is set in Sweden and received an IGN score of 6 out of 10.
Fistful Of Vengeance
Directed by Roel Reine, This action thriller movie with supernatural twists tells us about Kai, played by Iko Uwais, an assassin with superpowers who goes to Bangkok to take revenge on a killer. Still, life unfolds for Kai and his group, including Lewis Tan as Lu Xin Lee, Lawrence Kao as Tommy Wah, and more, as they find themselves fighting to save the world. Fistful of Vengeance is based on the Wu Assassins by John Wirth. This movie received a 5.2 out of 10 on Rotten Tomatoes.
