Before we get into the optimizations and fixes, there are also some new features. This way you will have direct access to the music visualization function of the Glyph interface. Furthermore, you can now directly set your network via Quick Settings, even if your device is locked.

As far as features go, that’s basically it. As for optimizations, Nothing “refined” the visual effects on the lock screen interface. The company has also optimized the reproduction of icons in the status bar.

The success rate of unlocking the device using a fingerprint reader has also been improved. Nothing has refined the transition animations for the Photos widget, while also improving call quality and call stability.

The Nothing Phone (2) is receiving many fixes with this new update

The game’s control panel FPS has improved and should now be updated regularly. Double-tapping the on/off button should now always open Wallet, without exception.

If you have been having problems with the Glyph switch, if it turned on automatically, this should no longer happen. The volume also changed automatically for some users during Flip to Glyph, but this no longer happens.

The Glyph interface also had a tendency to turn itself off when it was not within the Bedtime schedule. Nothing fixed this. Music also does not play while receiving calls in Vibrate mode.

If NFC has been bothering you, that should now be a thing of the past

For some users, the battery percentage did not appear in the status bar. This update should resolve this issue. The last entry in the changelog has to do with NFC. The overall stability of NFC is better.

However, Nothing said that this update is arriving in phases on the Nothing Phone (2), so you may not receive it immediately.
