In addition to this promotional image, the staff and cast of the anime series adaptation of the novel were revealed today. Why Nobody Remembers My World? (Naze Boku no Sekai o Dare mo Oboeteinai no ka?) by Kei Sazane (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World) and neco.

With its premiere scheduled for 2024, we now know that the animation is from the studio Project No.9 (Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS, Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki, Higehiro), directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa (Fire Force 2, Wave, Listen to Me!), the argument is Satoru Sugizawa (Love After World Domination) and the character design is by Hiromi Kato (Goblin Slayer 2, A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special).

In the cast we have:

Rinne: Kana Ichinose (Suletta Mercury in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury)
Jeanne: Haruka Shiraishi (Maya Ikusaba in My One-Hit Kill Sister)
Kai: Shoya Chiba (Kiyotaka Ayanokouji in Classroom of the Elite)

A Kadokawa published the first volume of the novel in July 2017 and its 9th and final volume was released in August 2020. In February 2018 Arika began releasing a manga adaptation.

Synopsis for Why Nobody Remembers My World?

The story takes place in an era in which humans, led by the hero Cid, won the great war between the five races competing for supremacy on Earth. However, this world is “replaced” by a boy named Kai. In the rewritten world, dragons and demons rule the land, and humans lost the great war without the hero Cid. The boy Kai, who is also forgotten by all humans, decides to recover the “true world” after meeting a mysterious girl named Rinne.

The novel Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru (God’s Game We Play or literally, God is Hungry for Games) also by Kei Sazane It will be adapted into an anime series in April 2024.
