But… Is this really that important when we’re already talking about the launch of the new RTX 50? Maybe yes, maybe not… After all, with the use of TSMC’s 3nm process in new graphics cards, it is likely that there will be a new price increase in the mix.

RTX 50: We already have a date! Is it worth buying a Super in 2024?

So, maybe it’s a good idea to look at the launch of the new RTX 40 Super just to get an idea of ​​what NVIDIA is doing, and then forget it existed. After all, it seems that we are less than 1 year away from the new RTX 50 generation based on the “Blackwell” architecture.

Yes, you read that right, the new RTX 50, which should bring new levels of performance, efficiency, as well as new innovative technologies to the table, has a launch date scheduled for the end of 2024.

However, an evolutionary leap as large as in the past is not expected. In fact, the increase in performance in the RTX 50 compared to the RTX 40 is expected to be lower than the jump we saw with the current RTX 40 compared to the RTX 30. Why? Well, graphics cards focused on Artificial Intelligence are selling 5x more compared to GeForce RTX 40 cards. As such, NVIDIA is much more focused on that market component, which is where the real money is.

In fact, this should be the story of the graphics card market in the coming years! After all, even AMD is now planning to stop launching high-end gaming graphics cards. For what? Simple, to also focus much more on the AI ​​part of the thing.
