Stealing an iPhone is silly, but now it’s useless!

What is it for? Simple!

Thanks to new strategies on the part of robbers, there began to be several robberies in which the access pin as well as the iCloud password were already on the attacker’s side.

Or, at a time when Apple’s security capabilities with the iPhone were beginning to become known, there were threats to the victim’s physical integrity that made them willingly give them away.

In short, the idea was to be able to unlock the iPhone 100% and then sell it in the used world. Or, perhaps worse than that, have access to all of the victim’s private information, such as their personal data or banking information.

Therefore, Apple announced this new functionality, which changes the paradigm of how access to the device works.
