The most famous series of FOX’s cult comedies will be in the spotlight in January

The new year is almost here and FOX channels have lots of news on the way!

January will be full of news on FOX channels, with a little something for everyone. From crime series such as “The Irrational”, “Midsomer Murders” and “Death in Paradise”, to action films such as “Bastille Day – Missão Terrorista”, “Um Homem Fuiroso”, among much more. And of course, don’t miss the arrival of one of the cult comedy series, “Seinfeld”.

The big premiere of January on FOX will be the series “The Irrational”, which will premiere on January 17th at 10:15 pm. This crime drama is inspired by the book “Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions” by Dan Ariely, following Alec Mercer, a renowned behavioral science professor, who lends his skills to a series of high-stakes cases involving governments, police forces and companies. This series has already been renewed for a second season.

“The Irrational” stars Jesse L. Martin (“The Flash”), Molly Kunz, Maahra Hill, Travina Springer (“Ms. Marvel”), Arash DeMaxi and Brian King.

In terms of films, January will be full of action with the broadcast of “Bastille Day – Anti-Terrorism Mission” on the 6th at 9:20 pm, with Charlotte Le Bon, Idris Elba It is Richard Madden.

On the 14th at 9:20 pm, you can see one of the works of Guy Ritchie“An Angry Man”, with Jason StathamHolt McCallany and Josh Hartnett, where we follow a mysterious man who works for a cash-in-transit company.

And on the 21st at 9:20 pm, you won’t want to miss the broadcast of “The Bodyguard and the Assassin” with Ryan ReynoldsSamuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman. Where the best bodyguard in the world has a new client, a murderer who will have to testify at the International Court in The Hague, but someone doesn’t want him to testify.



FOX LIFE

The fourth season of “Transplant” premieres on January 10th. This hit series follows the life of Bash, an emergency room doctor who has many obstacles to face. This series features Hamza Haq, Laurence Leboeuf, Ayisha Issa, Jim Watson and Rekha Sharma.

Another great return of the new year is “Saving Hope”. On the 30th, the fifth season of this medical drama premieres, which focuses on the lives of the doctors and nurses at Hope Zion Hospital. The cast includes Michael Shanks (“Elysium”), Erica Durance (“Smallville”), Michelle Nolden (“Foxfire”) and Benjamin Ayres.

In terms of films, you can’t miss “The Ottoman Lieutenant” on the 7th at 10:20 pm. This film follows a woman who is unhappy with the direction of her country and leaves the United States after meeting a doctor who runs a remote medical mission in the Ottoman Empire moments before World War I begins. The cast has Hera HilmarJosh Hartnett (“Oppenheimer”) It is Michiel Huisman (“Echo 3”).



FOX COMEDY

2024 will start off big on FOX Comedy with the arrival of the series “Seinfeld”. This is one of the most acclaimed series of recent times, and from January 1st you can start watching the episodes that follow four single friends: Jerry Seinfeld, George Constanza, Elaine Benes and Cosmo Kramer, who deal with the absurdities of life in New York. The series features Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (“Black Panther: Wankanda Forever”), Jason Alexander (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) and Michael Richards.

As for films, on the first three Saturdays of January you can see the first three films in the “Scary Movie” saga. These films are parodies of several popular films such as “Scream”, “Matrix”, “Sixth Sense”, among others. These films feature Anna Faris (“Mom”), Marlon Wayans (“Air”), Shawn Wayans, Charlie Sheen, among many others.



FOX CRIME

Two of FOX Crime’s biggest series will mark the start of the new year. On the 12th, at 10pm, “Midsomer Murders” returns with its twenty-third season. This 25+ year old crime classic will continue to follow Detectives Barnaby and Jamie as they investigate homicides in Midsomer County. With Neil Dudgeon, Nick Hendrix (“Legends of Crime”), Annette Badland (“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”), Fiona Dolman and Isabel Shaw.

And on January 31st at 10pm the twelfth season of “Death in Paradise” arrives. In this new season, the team will investigate the mysterious death of an astronomer who fell from a cliff during a rare planetary event. With Ralph LittleDon Warrington, Elizabeth Bourgine, Tahj Miles, Shantol Jackson and Ginny Holder (“Heist on London”).



FOX MOVIES

During the month of January you can expect a wide range of films to be broadcast on FOX Movies.

On the 4th, at 3:40 pm, you can see “Rocketman”, the biographical film that follows Elton John’s rise to fame. With Taron Egerton (“Black bird”), Jamie Bell (“The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Licorne”) It is Richard Madden (“Eternals”).

On the same day, but at night, it arrives “Chaos Walking – The Noise” with Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley and Demián Bichir. This film takes place in a world where all the women have disappeared and the men are affected by the “noise”, which means that their thoughts can be seen and heard by everyone, until a woman appears out of nowhere.

On the 6th, at 9:15 pm, the thriller “Abduction” will be broadcast, which follows a mother who chases a kidnapper who took her son from a park. With Halle Berry (“007 – Die Another Day”), Sage Correa and Chris McGinn.
