Even though he’s accelerating with “Ferrari”, Adam Driver has another incredible sci-fi film that’s a must-watch!
We are still in 2024 but there is already a long-awaited film – “Ferrari”. With its premiere scheduled for January 4th, Adam Driver plays the legendary Enzo Ferrari, the driver who founded one of the best brands in automobiles ever.
The interest surrounding the film is mainly due to what happened in Venice. At the big world premiere, at the Venice International Film Festival, at the end of the film’s premiere, the actor ended in tears. Adam Driver and the director Michael Mann received a standing ovation lasting more than six minutes.
Even though we’re about to be led by this film, Adam Driver has racked up other great films – “Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens” (2015), “Silence” (2016), “BlacKkKlansman: The Infiltrator” (2018), “Marriage Story” (2019), “The Last Duel” (2021), “Gucci House” (2021), “Lincoln” (2012) and “Frances Ha” (2012). Throughout his still short career, the American actor received two nominations for Oscars – Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actor, with “Marriage Story” (2019) and “BlacKkKlansman: The Infiltrator” (2018), respectively.
But in the middle of film by Michael Mann and Francis Ford Coppola’s great project, “Megalopolis”, There’s a science fiction film starring the actor that everyone needs to see!
THE ACTOR IN SCIENCE FICTION
“65” is directed and written by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods and produced by Sam Raimi, Deborah Liebling and Zainab Azizi. The film tells the history of “a pilot responsible for a ship that crashes on an unknown planet after an unexpected collision with an undetected asteroid. In an unknown land, Mills discovers that he is on planet Earth 65 million years ago.” The film did not have a great financial return in ticket office but the streaming version has enchanted the spectators.
Science fiction may reveal another facet of the talented actor, as he is part of the cast of the great project Francis Ford Coppola. Recently, in a interview with the Collider, Adam Driver said “the film is crazy, it’s so imaginative and big and epic, and it’s bold. Take a risk and I couldn’t be more excited about him.”
