Twitch will lay off 35% of its staff

A Twitch continues to be unprofitable nine years after the Amazon acquire the company for 970 million dollars and the sources of Bloomberg revealed that layoffs are coming.

In 2023, the company recorded two waves of layoffs, in March, with 400 people losing their jobs and later there were more layoffs in October.

With the Unity also revealing layoffs, this year 2024 continues the trend of 2023 where many jobs related to video games were cut.
