In short, we talk a little about what we saw and leave the invitation below in the comments to say what they saw and played in the last week.
Bruno Reis
Captain Tsubasa S2 (14)
Captain Tsubasa continues to masterfully mix drama with intense football moments. Tsubasa is a prodigy on the field, but he is not the only one and we gradually realize that in some ways he was like a frog in a pond. This arc introduces one of the most important characters for the development of the ball wizard because in a way Juan Diaz and his companion Pascal were presented as antitheses and parallels of Tsubasa and Misaki. While Tsubasa is a technical player who comes from a united and well-to-do family, Juan Diaz, before being found by a scout, lived on the streets of Argentina and played football with his friend Pascal with all kinds of objects, such as hats or cans. because their families were so poor that they didn’t even have money to buy them a ball. As they grew together, the two also developed a “golden combi” similar to Tsubasa and Misaki and Juan, a physical capacity worthy of a gymnast.
However, the link unites Tsubasa and Juan, it is Roberto Hongo and the number 10 of the Argentine youth team hits the Japanese talent where it hurts most, in his pride as a footballer. Before the match, both exchange words and Tsubasa realizes that somewhere in the audience Roberto is watching the game. Roberto is at the same time Tsubasa’s strength and weakness at this stage because I feel that when he abandoned him as a child it generated a kind of trauma, and Tsubasa, due to this episode, felt that he is not worthy, even more so when Diaz meets Roberto and even taught him how to develop a version of his technique, the Drive Shoot (oriented kick). Fortunately, Tsubasa is an eternal optimist and due to the inhalable spirit of his team and friendship, he discovers and develops a new combi, this time with his former rival, Hyuuga.
Frieren: Journeys End (14)
Sein was a character that I feel left Frieren’s group too soon. Even though the priest was absent, he was crucial to Fren’s survival, because the young prodigy with purple hair falls ill and Frien and Stark turn to a book of magicians to create a medicine. We had previously seen Frieren’s dynamics with Sein (the best chemistry) and Fren, but never with Stark. This episode rectified that problem by having them both collect ingredients for a medicine. I really didn’t expect the two to have such a good relationship because Stark’s personality is very similar to Zenitsu’s. Demon Slayer while Frieren’s is more impulsive and sometimes adventurous.
Shangri-La Frontier (14)
Shangri-La Frontier continues to sow the field so that in a few weeks, roots full of action and frantic moments will sprout! The narrative does not feel rushed and gradually continues to introduce lore and even revisit old games like “BOSTA” to develop Sunraku and its trio of protagonists. Everything essentially remained the same as the previous episode, but the game’s version update where a PK that kills a player is killed by another causes their money and equipment to pass to the person who killed them and leaves them with nothing when they respawn, It will undoubtedly cause a lot of ink to flow in the divine game.
One Piece (1089)
Wow One Piecewho saw you and who sees you, if you thought that the art of the Wano Land bow was surprising, wait until you see the line that the Toei Animation will be used in the Egghead arc One Piece. The rich tones gave way to a softer art as if it had been painted with colored pencils in a fairytale style with small, imperceptible and sophisticated contours when compared to those of the Wano arc. This episode was also incredible for its revelations, get ready because this arc will explode in this segment, and demonstrate the power and cruelty of a being that will be a prominent figure very soon. Amazing as at the beginning One Piece it was a work centered around pirates, adventure and treasures, now it is a work that revolves around slavery, totalitarianism and social differences.
Ishura (02)
The second episode of Ishura It literally changed our minds because instead of continuing the story of the last samurai, the production decided to introduce us to a group of new characters and change environments. The focus was a conflict between two legendary dragons, one hundreds of years old and the other a Wyvern that decided to rent itself out to humans. In addition to the dragon conflict, humans were also immersed and in a carriage we were able to watch a trio that consists of a swordsman skeleton, a humanoid tree and a young girl who seems to be the link between them all. Due to these developments I feel that Ishura is very close to a kind of League of Legends where a war will unite legendary beings in a dispute to decide who is the greatest champion. Another effect that is more than certain is its graphic violence because disembarked bodies and a lot of blood once again spouted in all directions of the screen. The Lore also never stops introducing concepts and elements and as it was narrated by Vearn’s seiyuu and it was a Demon King who is also one of the central pieces of the plot, it is still interesting.
Metallic Rouge (01)
There is no doubt that Metallic Rouge It is a work intended for an adult audience. The first episode transported us to a futuristic and dystopian society on Mars where humanity coexists with androids. Although we still have a very cloudy view of this reality, the first episode gave us a glimpse of what to expect. It seems that the androids want to be on par with humans and fight for their emancipation, however, to survive it seems that they have to inoculate themselves to survive and one of the main characters, who loves chocolate and has the ability to equip herself with a mecha suit. I felt that Metallic Rouge is a pre-work My Hero Academia at the Studio Bones, due to its themes and characters. This is par excellence a work in keeping with the style of the preferences and recommendations of the Hideo Kojima.
Urusei Yatsura (2022) (24)
Urusei Yatsura returns with another season full of shrill screams, electric shocks, lots of madness and fun. In this first episode, Ten reveals the extraterrestrial thought tablets to Ataru and Lum becomes unable to understand and interpret the Japanese language. Gradually we saw the beginnings of the traditional comedy style of Rumiko Takahashi which became a trademark in his works, where the traditional giant hammer and wrestling maneuvers are two of his highlights and were a constant in this festive episode. What was also present again were Ataru’s feelings when Lum leaves and you can believe that from now on they will be more frequent and impactful from now on.
Meshi Dungeon (02)
Meshi Dungeon continues to be a true dish full of fun and excitement. This time Laios’ party descends to a new floor of the dungeon to hunt basilisks and mandragoras. Something I’m loving, besides the eccentric delicacies, is how the characters are developed depending on the dishes and their characteristics. The series could take a much simpler route by simply introducing a random hunt, but by incorporating its story into the characters’ DNA it not only manages to spice up a basic plot too much but also feeds the appetite for new episodes every week.
Chained Soldier (02)
As Chained Soldier introduced some characters in the first episode at three strokes without even giving them the opportunity to introduce them. It wasn’t at all strange that his route was to present them instead of continuing to watch festive fights. To do so, the author of the story took the simplest and most functional route of harem anime, the misunderstandings and the effects that the protagonist has to deal with to emerge unscathed. In my opinion, everything was predictable, I would even say too predictable and perhaps the most surprising moment of the episode was when we watched the master and servant playing Super Street Fighter II Turbo, or prefer Super Strip Fighter II Turbo. I bet they were waiting for another piece of clothing when our hero tried to awaken his power as a servant, in this I even commend the author for taking another path in favor of the characters’ elements.
Solo Leveling (02)
Humans are par excellence the creatures most governed by their motivations and beliefs, this was the great theme of the second episode of Solo Leveling. When we are lost and the hope of survival is very low, we tend to pray, right? But what happens when not even prayers or deities are heard for those who are lost in darkness? most of the time we dive even deeper into an abyss and are governed by the most basic instinct that is survival. Without going into too much detail, this was the most predominant element of this intense second episode that caused so much blood to flow, bodies to fly and screams to echo while giving us a glimpse of Jinwoo’s family. Such as Hunter X Hunter I also like how the conflict is interpreted through the negotiation and differences of each of the characters.
