Xiaomi 14 Ultra: If it arrives in February, we will have war!

After an extremely interesting launch of mid-range devices at the beginning of 2024, with the arrival of the Redmi Note 13 smartphones on store shelves, it is undeniable that Xiaomi started this new year in the best possible way.

But things could get better in February! In the end, in addition to the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, which will certainly arrive on the European market during MWC 2024, there are also some rumors that the new Ultra could show off its grace at the same event.

So, if the Ultra reaches the Global market now… Xiaomi will have, for the first time, a giant throwing weapon against all other rivals.

Therefore, as we have said several times in the past, Xiaomi has a huge problem with the way it attacks the global smartphone market. Their high-end devices are obviously very good and attractive, however, they first reach the Chinese market, and only after 3 or 4 months do they begin to make their way to the rest of the world.

At first glance, this doesn’t seem like the end of the world, but… It is! When the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro finally reach the global market, the truth is that they will have long ceased to be a novelty.

In short, they look like older, outdated smartphones, compared to everything that other manufacturers are capable of developing and launching on the market. More specifically, Xiaomi ends up arriving on the European market a long time after Samsung’s most recent launch, which is, almost always, a big no.

Especially because Chinese market prices are not very similar to European market prices.

China first! Why?

Well, we in Europe are clueless. But China is a GIANT market. We are talking about 1.4 billion potential consumers. This is largely why Huawei still sells equipment at random. The Chinese market is more than enough to keep a manufacturer healthy.

In fact, China alone accounts for more than 30% of the global market, and this doesn’t just happen in smartphones, it also happens in televisions and even in cars. (In the automotive world, China accounts for almost 40% of the global market!)

Therefore, a Xiaomi that does not yet have the capacity to launch its devices all over the world at the same time, will, obviously, launch it first in its homeland.

Does Xiaomi 14 Ultra change the paradigm?

In case you didn’t know, Xiaomi will take advantage of MWC 2024 (February) to make some launches. Which is absolutely normal, this is one of the biggest stages in the mobile world.

However, the first leaks regarding the Xiaomi 14 began to appear on the Internet before launch. Which gives the idea that… We will have news about this device at MWC. Which would be amazing!

Seeing Xiaomi trying to change its strategy, to launch its most desired device around the world, at the same time, or at least just a few weeks apart, would really be very interesting, and would put Samsung, Oppo, Vivo , Honor, etc… In a state of siege.

Especially if the price of these devices is a little lower compared to what Samsung did with the S24 Ultra.

Well… Let’s wait!
