According to the official synopsis, “a family’s moral codes are put to the test when Ray Tierney investigates an incendiary case of police corruption involving his own brother-in-law, a Pandora’s box that threatens to end not only his family’s reputation but also that of the entire New York Police Department.”

JOHN WICK (DECEMBER 5 02:15)

Keanu Reeves stars in the first film of one of the most popular sagas of recent years! After a brutal attack, John Wick comes out of retirement to hunt down whoever did him harm. A film not to be missed for all action fans.

AXN MOVIES

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (DECEMBER 6, 1:26 p.m.)

With Johnny Depp in the lead role, Michael Compton, from Bowling Green Daily News highlights the actor in the film – “a delight with stunning visuals and lots of fun performances, led by Johnny Depp“. The film achieved 83% in Rotten Tomatoes.

AMC

STEVE JOBS (DECEMBER 7, 2:50 PM)

Michael Fassbender plays one of the greatest geniuses of the last 50 years. Her performance even earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Leading Actor.

With an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Ryan Syrek of The Reader, writes, “Steve Jobs is a brilliant character study that relies on nothing more than words and performance. For a film about a man striving to create a revolutionary future, this is as happily simplistic a throwback as one might imagine.”

FOX MOVIES

JASON BOURNE (DECEMBER 8 11:10 PM)

Matt Damon returns to play one of the most memorable roles of his career. According to the official synopsis, “apart from the CIA ten years ago, agent Jason Bourne returns to the battlefield to face a sinister network that uses technology and terror to stay in power.”

HOLLYWOOD CANAL

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD (DECEMBER 9, 8:25 PM)

The story created by George Miller in 1979 there could not have been a better comeback. “Mad Max: Fury Road” achieved an impressive 97% rating on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

TV CINE

DON’T WORRY, DEAR (DECEMBER 10, 9:30 PM) – TVCINE TOP

The film had everything to be better than it actually was. Our review, Maggie Silvahe writes, “the second feature film made by the actress Olivia Wilde it is a fruitless effort that is much more concerned with form than content. Florence Pugh escapes without a scratch from a filmic disaster that proves that art is not about good intentions.”

Still, it’s one of the best films coming to television this week.
