Galaxy S24: after all, there are more colors than expected!
The Samsung Galaxy S24 range will be one of the biggest smartphone launches at the beginning of 2024. As we get closer to its official announcement, more details are becoming clear about what to expect from the Korean giant’s next big flagship. Now a new development sheds more light on the non-Ultra models of the Galaxy S24 family, indicating new color options for the phones.

We already know a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ models, with several leaks pointing to a new, simpler design with flatter sides, aluminum construction and a triple camera system. According to images released by the press, the duo should be available in four colors, with the supposed marketing names being Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow. That is, Black, Grey, Violet and Yellow. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to come in similar shades, but the finish will be slightly different thanks to its titanium construction.

But for those hoping for more color options, you’re in luck. It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ will be available in three more colors than previously expected. The information comes from a premature listing on Chinese wholesale marketplace Vopmart (via NotebookCheck). So we have pastel green, copper orange and deep blue. The current commercial names are not yet known. Accessory manufacturers often have access to product schematics in advance, so this may be an example of that. The listing also reaffirms dual-SIM functionality on the S24 series.
The absence of these colors in previous leaks may imply that they are exclusive to certain operators or sellers, with Samsung’s online store being the most likely destination. Historically, Samsung has always saved some finishes for the S series and the foldable Z series. Final availability often varies by region, so you will have to wait until the launch event to find out the colors available in your market.
The global launch is rumored to take place on January 17th, with sales beginning in February.
The fact that Samsung is starting early doesn’t mean it won’t face some tough competition in 2024. The OnePlus 12 and 12R arrive in global markets, including Europe and North America, just a few days later on January 23.
