In an interview with Yahoo!actress Iman Vellani who is responsible for living the Ms. Marvel in the MCU commented that he doesn’t care about the box office of The Marvels. The film opened with a very low number to the standards of Marvel Studiosbut the young woman comments that this is a concern for Bob Iger and that she is happy with the final product:

“I don’t want to focus on something that’s not even in my control, because what’s the point? This is for Bob Iger, it has nothing to do with me. I’m happy with the final product and the people I care about liked the film. It’s really fun to watch this film and that’s all we can ask for with these productions. It has superheroes, it takes place in space, it’s not that deep and it’s about teamwork and brotherhood. It’s a fun film and I’m so happy to be able to share it with people.”

Regarding the various nasty comments on the internet, Iman says she is used to it because she experienced it in high school. Iman is currently 21 years old.

“I had a lot of experience alone in high school where I would share my excitement with someone and then they would immediately shut me down for being so excited. I would hate to see that within the fan community as well, because it’s horrible. If people are excited about something, let them be excited about it. And if you have constructive criticism, express it – but never be the killjoy of someone else’s excitement.”

The Marvels is showing in cinemas with dubbed and subtitled copies.
