Love Live! Trilogy Nijigasaki High School Idol Club in September 2024

With this promotional video it was announced at the “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 6th Live! I love You You love Me” which is a trilogy of anime films Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club will premiere on September 6, 2024. These three films will serve as a conclusion to the anime’s story.

The film trilogy takes place after the previous two seasons and the OVA Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Next Sky. The cast and staff are the same and below you can see a promotional image designed by Kerorira.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is based on the group that debuted in the mobile game Love Love! School Idol Festival ALL STARS. With animation by the studio Sunrisethe direction is Tomoyuki Kawamura (Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon), the script is by Jin Tanaka (Cinderella Nine, Go! Princess Precure) and the character design is by Takumi Yokota (animation direction for Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow).

The franchise Love Live! was created in 2010 by Sunrise, Lantis It is Dengeki G Magazinepromising to be the “ultimate fan participation project” allowing fans to vote on idols’ futures.

The first anime Love Live! school idol project premiered in January 2013 and the second season in April 2014. The film Love Live! The School Idol Movie premiered in Japan in June 2015.

We had after Love Live! Sunshine!!the second season premiered on TV in October 2017 and the first season premiered in July 2016. The film Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow premiered in theaters on January 4, 2020.
