New trailer and poster for Golden Kamuy Live-action

A TOHO has posted this new trailer for the live-action film adaptation of the manga online Golden Kamuy in Satoru Noda which will premiere on January 19, 2024. Below you can see a new poster.

Production is by CREDEUSthe direction is Shigeaki Kubothe argument is Tsutomu Kuroiwa and the music is from Yutaka Yamada.

Golden Kamuy began to be launched in 2014 and in 2016 it was the big winner of the 9th edition of (Cartoon Grand Prize). The manga ended in April 2022.

The first anime series adaptation premiered in April 2018, the second in October 2018, the third in October 2020 and the 4th in October 2022, returning after a hiatus in April 2023. It is in production an anime adaptation of the manga’s “final arc.”

Synopsis of Golden Kamuy

This story takes place in the northern countryside of Hokkaido, during the turbulent Meiji Era.

Sugimoto, a soldier who survived the Russo-Japanese War and became known as “The Immortal,” needs a large sum of money… Dreaming of making a fortune overnight during the Hokkaido Gold Rush, Sugimoto finds a map of tattoos on the backs of Abashiri Prison escapees that could lead to secret treasure!

The magnificent landscapes of Hokkaido, violent fugitives and Asirpa, an Ainu girl full of purity!!

A battle of survival begins for the hidden treasure.
