OnePlus will launch the Buds 3 worldwide alongside the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones on January 23rd.

The OnePlus Buds 3 will be available in North America, India and Europe, as per reports. I remember that these headphones had already made their debut in China earlier this month.

Ahead of the big event, OnePlus revealed details about the earbuds’ battery and charging functions. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the company revealed that the Buds 3 have 44 hours of playback on a full charge. And just 10 minutes of charging gives you 7 hours of listening time, OnePlus claims.

The earbuds are equipped with a 58mAh battery and the charging case has a 520mAh battery. With active noise cancellation (ANC) turned on, you’ll get a solid 6.5 hours of playback on a single charge. And if you include the charging case, playback time increases to 28 hours.

OnePlus’ new bet is very comfortable with each button weighing 4.8 grams. The bass unit with a 10.4 mm composite diaphragm is responsible for the crystal clear highs and powerful bass.

A three-mic AI system claims to reduce background noise by 99.6%, offering 49 decibels of active noise cancellation. The intelligent ANC mode is responsible for adjusting noise cancellation levels based on your surroundings.

OnePlus Buds 3 also includes support for LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res, delivering premium audio transmission with a 96kHz sampling rate and 1Mbps wireless speed.

Meanwhile, these headphones are IP55 rated, which means they can resist dust and water. Additionally, they have Bluetooth 5.3 for perfect connectivity. Like the Chinese versions, you can purchase them in Splendid Blue or Metallic Gray in the global markets where they are scheduled for release.
