The Hunger Games – A Song of Birds and Snakes premiered this past weekend in theaters around the world, and despite fans’ great enthusiasm for returning to the Hunger Games universe, it had a modest start at the US box office, via BoxOffice.
According to previous data, the production totaled just over US$44 million in the first weekend, thus registering the franchise’s lowest start at the box office in the United States. In the rest of the world, US$54.5 million were added, for an international total of US$98.5 million.
The Hunger Games: The Song of Birds and Serpents is showing in Brazilian cinemas.
