Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime series announced

It was announced today that an anime series adaptation of the manga is in production. Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) by Fujino Ōmori It is Toshi Aoi. You can see above a first trailer for this anime series that will premiere in July 2024 (Summer anime season)

With animation by the studios Minutes It is Bandai Namco Picturesthe direction is Tatsuya Yoshihara (Chainsaw Man action direction), the character design is by Sayaka Ono (CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon) and the music is the responsibility of Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) on Lantis.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) began to be published in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in December 2020 and its 9th volume has just been published by Kodansha.

Synopsis of Wistoria: Wand and Sword

A magical new fantasy dungeon adventure series from the author of Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?! To fulfill the promise he made to his childhood friend, Will Serfort enters the Regarden Magic Academy with the aim of reaching the top of the magical world. There’s just one problem: he doesn’t know how to use magic! Will the seemingly ordinary sword in his hand be the key to unlocking his true potential?

Season 4 of the anime adaptation of Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) by Fujino Ōmori debuted in summer 2022.

The first season of the anime premiered in April 2015 and had 13 episodes, and the second season premiered in July 2019 and had 12 episodes. The third season of the anime premiered in October 2020.

The story of the novel takes place in the city of labyrinths, Orario. Bell Cranel is a novice adventurer who aspires to “Have a fateful encounter with a member of the opposite sex.” One day, during an adventure, he is attacked by a Minotaur. Close to destruction, he is saved by an elite adventurer, Eyes Warenstein. He falls in love with her at first sight, and begins trying to become an adventurer on her level. He later encounters Hestia, a goddess nicknamed “Goddess Lolita” due to her stature, who falls in love with him.
