139.36 million Nintendo Switch worldwide

In your third quarter report of your current fiscal year, Nintendo revealed that it has already sold 139.36 million Nintendo Switch all around the world. This number includes sales of Nintendo Switch, Lite and OLED.

Around 6.9 million copies were sold Nintendo Switch from October 1 to December 31, 2023. Sales fell 7.8% compared to the first to third quarter of last year, selling 13.74 million consoles in the period from April 1 to December 31.

The best-selling games for Nintendo Switch to December 31st include:

2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons: 44.79 million copies
3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: 33.67 million copies
4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 31.61 million copies
5. Super Mario Odyssey: 27.65 million copies
6. Pokémon Sword/Pokémon Shield: 26.17 million copies
7. Pokémon Scarlet/Pokémon Violet: 24.36 million copies
8. Super Mario Party: 20.34 million copies
9. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: 20.28 million copies
10. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe: 17.20 million copies

The new game Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Nintendo Switchreleased on October 20th, sold more than 11.96 million copies.

A Nintendo Switch exceeded the Playstation 4 from Sony and the Game Boy/Game Boy Color from the Nintendo as the third best-selling console of all time at the end of 2022 (behind the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS).
