Nintendo Switch 2 will be released in the first quarter of 2025

Initially with rumors pointing to a launch in 2024, the VGC has now revealed that according to its sources the Nintendo told publishers that its next console will be released in the first quarter of 2025.

One of the sources even reveals that this postponement is due to Nintendo wanting a better set of games to launch with the new console.

Is it possible that the next console Nintendo follow a schedule similar to that of Switchwhich was released in March.

For all intents and purposes, Nintendo has not yet officially announced the Nintendo Switch 2if its next console will have this name, but multiple rumors pointed to a launch in 2024. This postponement to the first quarter of 2025 continues to place the Nintendo Switch 2 in the same fiscal year.
