romantic comedy manga gets anime

The Japanese broadcaster Tokyo MX announced this Friday (17) that the manga Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love (Debu to Love to Ayamachi to!), created by Mamakari, will be adapted into a TV anime. So far, additional details about the production have not been released, but a promotional image featuring the main characters has been released. Check out.

Mamakari began publishing the manga in the shoujo magazine Koisuru Soiree, from publisher NTT Solmare, in 2019. The series is still ongoing and has seven volumes compiled to date. Additionally, a live-action series based on the work was broadcast on Japanese TV in November 2022.

The story follows Yumeko, a woman who, after being bullied for her appearance, suffers an accident that results in the loss of her memories. Determined to transform her life, she chooses to live happily with herself and seeks the love she desires.
