Editora JBC’s announcements at CCXP23

During the panel JBC Publisher at CCXP23 the publisher announced new manga that will be published in Brazil in the future.

The first announcement was the publication of the manga collection of the writer’s works HP Lovecraft. The collection has five mangas by Gou Tanabe of stories by the famous horror writer. Among the manga in the collection is The Hound, The Color that Fell from Space, The Dweller of Darkness, The Call of Cthulhu It is In the Mountains of Madness. The collection will be published in a single volume compiling the first four works, while the In the Mountains of Madness will be published in four volumes.

The publisher also announced that it will publish the manga version of the film Suzumefrom the principal Makoto Shinkai. The manga version of the feature is written by Denki Yamashita and is expected to be launched in Brazil in the first half of 2024.

Authored by Kunio Ajinoformer assistant to the mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi (Hunter x Hunter), the JBC announced that it will publish the manga Sensei Hakusho. The manga shows Togashi’s life from Ajino’s perspective and brings behind the scenes of the famous mangaka’s life.

The manga Parasyte (Kiseijuu) will be republished in Brazil in full color format. The work of Hitoshi Iwaaki was previously published in Brazil by JBC in 2015, this new edition is based on the 10-volume release published in Japan in 2014.

The advertisements of JBC Publisher on the panel were finished with another work of ONE (One-Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100), this time the publisher will publish the manga Versus. The manga has scripts by ONEcomposition of bose and illustration of Kyotaro Azuma.
