Do you still remember the many rumors pointing to ASUS ready to give up on the smartphone market, as it never managed to have the strong impact it would like? Well, it seems that the bet is to continue!

At least on the Gaming Phones side, this strange market but apparently full of wealthy enthusiasts.

So, I’ll be very honest, I’ve rarely seen a gaming smartphone on the street, but… The truth is just one… These devices are extremely powerful in everything or almost everything. So powerful to the point of making us question whether we really need all that power, little lights and extra ventilation ports.

Well, whether you think you need it or not, ASUS has already finished developing the ROG Phone 8, and it looks like we’re going to have some new features in the design field. The giant ASUS has already started teasing its new super powerful smartphone.

What changes?

Well, we still don’t know for sure!

It is very likely that it will arrive in several versions, all of them full of RAM, storage, and of course, a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 with some OC on top. As is also obvious, we will have extra screens on the back, extra buttons, and of course, some user-controlled RGB lighting.

However, it is expected that ASUS will pay some more attention to the camera field, which is where the gaming phone almost always fails. But don’t expect performance similar to an S23 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro.

Launch? Price?

ASUS does not follow a normal schedule, but it is very likely that there will be news at the beginning of the year, for a serious launch somewhere at MWC 2024 in Barcelona.

Now we also need to know news about the next Zenfone. But this device always arrives a little later.
