With Jungle Pocket as the protagonist, on May 24, 2024, it will premiere Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Shinjidai no Tobira (Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era), an anime film in the franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby. You can see the announcement video above and a promotional image below.
The film follows Jungle Pocket, who wants to participate in the Triple Crown Classic race, which can only be run once in a lifetime. She faces rivals Agnes Tachyon and Manhattan Cafe.
With animation by Cygames Pictures (Blade Runner: Black Out 2022, Princess Connect! Re:Dive), directed by Ken Yamamoto (Pokémon: Hisuian Snow), the argument is Kiyoko Yoshimura (Cardfight!! Vanguard G) and the character design is by Jun Yamazaki (Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Road to the Top). A TOHO will distribute the anime film.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby 3the new season of Uma Musume Pretty Derby, recently debuted. The 13-episode first season was animated by the studio PAWORKS and premiered in April 2018. A second season animated by Studio Kai premiered on January 5, 2021.
The game was released on February 24, 2021 in Japan for mobile devices, while a PC version was released on March 10. Originally its launch was scheduled for winter 2018, however, it was postponed indefinitely to improve the quality of the final product.
The story of the game revolves around Uma Musume (horse girls) who have an excellent ability to run and who aim to become idols and compete in the “Twinkle Series” program. The player takes on the role of not only a coach but also a teacher for the girls at Uma Musume Training Center Gakuen (Japan Horse Girls Training Center Academy).
