Awards aren’t just about cinema… Who will be the television winners at the Critics’ Choice Awards ceremony?
In addition to distinguishing the best of movie theaterthe Critic’s Choice Awards, award voted by Broadcast Film Critics Association they also seek to recognize television professionals.
The positive thing is that the association is not usually as interested in following the Emmys and manages to present diverse lists that focus on series and installments that are not so within the race. This year, series like “Will Trent”, “Truth Be Told” It is “The Fall of the House of Usher” they found a space here to be recognized.
In terms of winners, there are three main trends that can be noticed: the recognition of something that is already established (e.g. “Succession” won for the 2nd and 3rd seasons); correcting an injustice (e.g. “Better Call Saul” continues without any Emmys, but last year won 3 awards at the Critics’ Choice Awards), and the launch of a new candidate for contention (e.g.: Melanie Lynskey by “Yellowjackets” surprised by defeating MJ Rodriguez who had already won the Golden Globes that year).
The ceremony will take place in the early hours of Monday, January 15th.
