As you may know, the trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, which is actually more of a ‘teaser’ than a real trailer, has been on the Internet for just over a day… But… IT’S DOMINATING THE INTERNET!
In the space of 24 hours, the long-awaited trailer, of what is the most anticipated game of (probably) ever, reached more than 100 million views on YouTube alone, that is, in the space of one day, GTA 6 has already surpassed the total views of the GTA 5 reveal video.
But this is just a funny statistic, since in reality, GTA 6 has already broken 3 world records according to Guinness World Records.
The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has been out for just over a day and, as expected, it has taken the Internet by storm. In the space of a day, the new trailer reached the number of views of the original GTA V reveal, accumulating more than 104 million views on YouTube alone.
- Note: The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer holds the records for the most viewed video game reveal on YouTube, the most liked video game trailer, and the most viewed non-musical YouTube video in 24 hours.
GTA 6 is already breaking records. It only arrives in 2025!
As you would imagine, Take-Two (parent company of Rockstar Games) also saw a rise in its shares after all this success, and despite more than a decade of waiting, many cancellations, and in reality many disappointments regarding to the studio’s latest projects, everything indicates that GTA 6 has the same, or even more, enthusiasm around it.
However, we still have a long way to go, especially if you are a PC gamer. After all, GTA 6 arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X in 2025, but on PC only in 2026.
