Illustrious members of the video game industry will join in the development of the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077

A CD Projekt RED announced that Project Orionthe continuation of Cyberpunk 2077which was announced in October 2022, has added several high-profile members to the game’s development.

The project is being led by CD Projekt RED North Americaa new studio based in Boston in the United States and is currently in the early stages of development with veterans who participated in Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion. However, the following cast of illustrious members of the video game industry will also join its development and will consist of the following elements:

• Dan Hernberg (executive producer) – New World, Apex Legends, and Diablo III
• Ryan Barnard (design director) – Hitman series
• Alan Villani (engineering director) – various games in the modern Mortal Kombat series
• Anna Megill (lead writer) – Control (Remedy), Dishonored: Death of The Outsider (Arkane Studios), Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (Massive Entertainment), Guild Wars 2 (ArenaNet), and Fable (Playground Games)
• Alexander Freed (writer) – Star Wars: The Old Republic
