The North American giant also wants to change the way the user interacts with the few but still extremely important physical buttons on the device.

Therefore, it seems that Apple is testing several prototypes, all with different sized buttons, but with a common objective. Refresh your functionality!

To achieve this, it is planning to exchange the old volume buttons for something unified and with touch capability, at the same time as improving the action button and adding another button designed solely for capturing images via the rear or front sensors.

In other words, the volume buttons will most likely become a unified capacitive button! In addition to changing the volume, you should also gain other features depending on the touch or touches you give. Furthermore, the action button will change size and will also gain new functions. Finally, we will have another completely new button! Now in the form of a capture button, somewhat imitating the capture button on dedicated cameras from the past.
