iPhone 16 will be the same… Apple shooting itself in the foot!?

As you can imagine, now that the iPhone 15 is on the market, and the stock issues seem to be completely over, Apple is already working on what’s next for its most important product… The iPhone 16 range of smartphones!

However, according to some analysts in the mobile world, unlike the success of the last two years, the next launch will be a “flop” for Apple. We don’t really believe in this… But do you have any idea what Why this “analysis” by experts?

iPhone 16 will be the same… Apple shooting itself in the foot!?

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone, Apple, iPhone caught water

Therefore, just like in 2023 and 2022, Apple is expected to launch 4 new models in September 2024, which will be direct successors to the current versions of the iPhone 15. However, Barclays analysts say that the new generation will not have nothing special that differentiates it from the current iPhone 15, and therefore, Apple will suffer a very significant slowdown in sales.

But… Let’s be very honest… When was the last time a new iPhone brought revolutionary features? In 2017 with the iPhone X? In 2022 with the dynamic island? The iPhone sells… Purely and simply because it’s an iPhone!

Apple itself knows that it doesn’t have to revolutionize the product every year. In fact, at this point in the championship, it is extremely difficult for any manufacturer to launch an innovative and differentiated product, when they only have one year to develop, produce and launch it.

Whether you like it or not, today’s smartphone is almost perfect! There is only room for some minor improvements. This is exactly why consumers no longer update every year, or even every 2 years. Update when the accumulation of 3 or 4 years of differences starts to make sense for your portfolio and day-to-day use.

In short, who is right? The analysts or us? Will the iPhone sell less in 2024 because it is extremely similar to the iPhone 15 from 2023? Or will it be another success? Share your opinion with us in the comments box below.
