There are things that may go unnoticed but that are really important, especially for those who like to have access to new things first. That said, by activating a function you can participate in Netflix tests and receive news.
See how you can participate in Netflix tests and receive news!
The function allows participation in tests and arrived as a way for Netflix to test changes to the application.
Like other tech giants, Netflix typically prefers to test updates on a few people before rolling them out to everyone. It can reveal whether a change needs to be tweaked – or even eliminated entirely – before it goes everywhere. If you know where to look, you can sign up to participate in these tests.
How to sign up
Typically, accounts with this option enabled will automatically be included in Test Participation. To make sure you’re signed up, go to the Netflix website in your browser.
Then click on your profile picture and navigate to Account > Settings.
Then select Participate in tests and make sure the box is checked.
“Participate in testing to help improve the Netflix experience and preview potential changes before they are available to all members,” Netflix says.
Of course, you may not want the new features to reach your account in this way. So make sure the box is unchecked if that is the case.
You can also sign up separately for the Netflix Android app beta test here.
What does participating in the tests unlock?
It’s impossible to say exactly what will be unlocked for your account if you try Testing.
However, you may have access to some features that other people do not have.
However, there are some changes that have been tested and that give an idea of what we can expect.
You may see different tile sizes or alternative text on the buttons.
Netflix also tested the Skip Intro button with Test Participation.
However, in any case, not everything you see can make it into the full version of the application.
