The Dangers in My Heart 2 will have 13 episodes

The second season of the anime series adaptation of the manga The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) by Norio Sakurai will consist of 13 episodes that will later be released in 3 volumes Blu-ray.

The special episode “Twi-Yaba” (“Bonus Dangers” on HIDIVE) is included as an extra and is not reflected in the 13 episode count.

The animation is from Shinei Animation (Takagi-san the Master of Teasing, Elegant Yokai Apartment Life, Doraemon), directed by Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san, Those Snow White Notes), the script is by Jukki Hanada (Love Live! Sunshine!!, Sound! Euphonium, Steins;Gate) and the character design is by Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬, The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie). Music is the responsibility of kensuke ushio (Liz and the Blue Bird, Chainsaw Man, A Silent Voice).

Synopsis of The Dangers in My Heart

Ichikawa Kyotaro, a boy on the lowest rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he is the tortured protagonist of some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming of ways to disrupt the peaceful lives of his classmates and pining for Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro isn’t nearly the troubled teenager he pretends to be… and it turns out that Anna is a little strange!
