7th – NYAD
In an incredible true story of tenacity, friendship and triumph of the human spirit, we follow a remarkable chapter in the life of world-class athlete Diana Nyad. Three decades after exchanging long-distance swimming for a distinguished career as a sports journalist, at the age of 60, Diana (Annette Bening, with four nominations for the Oscars) becomes obsessed with completing a swimming crossing that she had never been able to achieve: the 177 kilometers from Cuba to Florida, known as the “Mount Everest” of swimming.
So, determined to become the first person to achieve this feat without any type of protection against sharks, Diana embarks on an intense four-year journey with her best friend and coach, Bonnie Stoll (Jodie Fosterwinner of two Oscars) and a faithful navigation team.

The plot focuses on the Grinch, a green being who has a deep aversion to Christmas and who, every year, has to ‘take it’ with the inhabitants of neighboring Vila-Quem who celebrate the date with enthusiasm. Determined to put an end to the Christmas festivities, he decides to break into his neighbors’ houses and steal everything related to Christmas.
In addition to Benedict Cumberbatchwho voices the Grinch, the cast also includes names like Cameron Seely, Rashida JonesKenan Thompson, Angela Lansbury and Pharrell Williams in the role of narrator.
5th – BELIEVER 2
This film by Baek Jong Yeol, which premiered on November 17th, is a mix of action and thriller. With Jo Jin Woong (“Signal”), Cha Seung Won (“Our Blues”), Han Hyo Joo (“Happiness”), Oh Seung Hoon (“Innocent Defendant”) and Kim Dong Young (“River Where the Moon Rises”).
