3rd – BERLIN

If you are a fan of “La Casa de Papel“, you certainly remember that during the epic robbery one of the most beloved characters, Berlinplayed by Pedro Alonso, had a tragic but heroic outcome, sacrificing himself for the cause, giving – literally – his body to bullets for his companions. His departure left a feeling of emptiness among the fans, who will now be able to… ‘kill’ their homesickness.

“Only two things can turn a bad day into a great day: love and a large amount of money. These are the great motivation for Berlin during his best years, a time when he has no signs of the disease and is not yet imprisoned at the Mint. 1st – AN AMERICAN NIGHTMARE

When the worst happens, those at the center of the story hope for justice – or at least for them to be believed. However, the vast and complicated criminal justice system is not always so reliable. On March 23, 2015, Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn, her boyfriend, were awakened in the dead of night by an intruder in her home. Huskins was kidnapped, and what unfolded afterward is the subject of this new miniseries from Netflix.

Authorities claimed that the young couple’s account of events was too far-fetched for anyone to believe. The story of Huskins’ disappearance attracted national media scrutiny, with many comparing him to “In an Uncertain Part” (“Gone Girl“), the 2014 hit film adapted from the work of the same name by Gillian Flynn.

Which of these series have you seen on Netflix?
