Trailer for Paripi Koumei’s compilation anime film

You can see a new trailer above Ya Boy Kongming! Road to Summer Soniathe compilation film of the anime series adaptation of the manga Paripi Koumei (Ya Boy Kongming!) written by Yuuto Yotsuba and illustrated by Ryou Ogawa which will premiere on March 1, 2024. The video shows a new scene designed for the film and shows the musical theme “Resonance” by Eiko (96Neko) and Nanami (Lezel).

The animation is from the studio PA Works (True Tears, Angel Beats!, Another, Shirobako, Charlotte), directed by Osamu Honma (Amanchu!, Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales, Kedama no Gonjiro, SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist), the script is by Yoko Yonaiyama and the character design is by Kanami Sekiguchi (Canaan, Charlotte, Hanasaku Iroha, Sakura Quest, Shirobako).

In the cast we have:

• Kaede Hondo as Eiko Tsukumi.
• Ryoutarou Okiayu as Zhuge Kongming.
• Shouya Chiba like Kabe-Taito.
• Hibiku Yamamura as Nanami Kuon.
• Jun Fukushima as Owner Kobayashi.

Paripi Koumei (Ya Boy Kongming!) began to be published in Comic Days in December 2019 and a live-action series adaptation premiered in September 2023.
