A Aniplex posted the uncredited opening and ending sequences of the anime series online Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga. The opening theme is “Eye’s Sentry” by UVERworld and the ending theme is “Gakkyu Nisshi” by Mulasaki Ima.

With animation by Studio VOLN (Ushio & Tora, Idol Incidents), directed by Daisuke Yoshida (Sōten Kōro, Idol Incidents), the argument is Toshiya Onothe character design is by Yurie Oohigashi and music is the responsibility of Kohta Yamamoto It is Hiroyuki Sawano.

The manga follows the adventures and mysteries in the lives of brothers Rin and Yukio Okumura. The two orphans live under the guardianship of Father Shiro Fujimoto in a land where demons exist and need to be exorcised. But there is a great mystery surrounding Rin and when he finds out, he will have to overcome many obstacles if he wants to become an exorcist and help fight the evil that afflicts the world.
