Satoru Mikami is a 37-year-old ordinary man living in Tokyo. He is relatively satisfied with his monotonous life, despite the fact that he does not have a girlfriend. During a meeting with one of his colleagues, he is stabbed and dies. But during his agony before his death, a mysterious voice recites a series of commands that, at first, make no sense.
When he wakes up again, he discovers that he has been reincarnated as a slime in another world. Little did he know that his monotonous life has now come full circle, as with his new way of life, he will gradually discover new skills and make new friends.
Both Solo Leveling and That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime are hubs for protagonists who see a significant transformation from a weakling to a powerful force. However, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime takes this evolution to the extreme, positioning its protagonist among the most formidable characters in the world of anime. The battles against monsters, the infusion of magic, and Rimuru’s adventures present an eye-catching visual.
