In addition to this promotional image, Kadokawa revealed the staff of the anime series adaptation of the novel The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor in Sarasa Nagase. Initially, the series was announced to premiere in January 2024, but this ended up not happening.
With animation by the studio JC Staff (Edens Zero), the direction is Kentarō Suzuki (Requiem of the Rose King, Angels of Death), the argument is Atsuo Ishino (scriptwriter for Chihayafuru 2, A Certain Scientific Railgun T) and the character design is by Sana Komatsu (The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3).
The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor began serialization in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in November 2019. A manga adaptation by Anko Yuzu began rolling out on Comp Ace in July 2020.
