ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is (really) very close!

ASUS is an extremely curious manufacturer in the Android world, because it knows how to make hardware, and that’s why smartphones always appear with incredible build quality on store shelves, however, it almost never ends up having a big sales success on its hands.

Which is exactly why the strategy seems to have changed in 2024! After all, after a much more “traditional” but immensely powerful ROG Phone 8, ASUS is also planning to greatly advance the launch date of the Zenfone 11.

What’s going on here?

ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is (really) very close!

Therefore, we still don’t know whether the Zenfone 11 Ultra will be a clone of the ROG Phone 8, or something a little different, potentially smaller and thinner, and therefore to the liking of the more conventional user.

But one thing is certain, the 2024 Zenfone will hit the shelves much earlier than usual. Furthermore, it should hit the market in two versions, one more compact and cheaper, and of course, the Ultra version, larger, heavier, more expensive, but more powerful.

In fact, this Ultra being real, is the first time that ASUS breaks the rules in this range of devices, by presenting a serious top of the range, instead of just a device with good specifications, but still limited in some aspects.

Earlier? Why?

We don’t know why. Possibly, it’s ASUS wanting to mix it up with Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, etc… Which is good, because it can present devices that are as good or better, at more competitive prices.

Why we say it will arrive sooner, well… The smartphone is being “leaked” until it says enough. The Zenfone 11 Ultra has just appeared on Geekbench equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 SoC and 16GB of RAM.

When arrives?

Maybe at MWC, still not sure.

Price?

Possibly something similar to the ROG Phone, or slightly cheaper as it is a more traditional range.

First of all, what do you think about all this? Personally, I hope that ASUS can succeed in the world of smartphones, with its own identity. The brand deserves, and we, consumers, deserve to have more (good) competition in the market.
