Despite being a highly successful actor, Gary Oldman admits he didn’t like the way he brought Sirus Black to life in “Harry Potter”, and explains why.

Considered one of the most successful franchises in cinema history, “Harry Potter” won the hearts of thousands of people who became true fans of the film adaptation of the books by J.K. Rowling. Many of the characters that appeared in the eight films in the saga became truly adored by the public. The revelation came when Gary Oldman participated in the last episode of podcast Happy Sad Confused“, conducted by Josh Horowitz. During the conversation, the actor classified his performance in the three films as “Harry Potter” as mediocre and highlighted the fact that she had not read JK Rowling’s books to prepare for her character.

Gary Oldman brought the character Sirus Black to life, appearing for the first time in the franchise in the film “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban“, in 2004.
