Martial Master Asumi MMA manga has come to an end

The most recent issue of Weekly Shonen Jump published the last chapter of the manga Martial Master Asumi (Asumi Kakeru) by Kawada. Its 3rd volume will be released on March 4th and its 4th and final volume will be released with extra content on May 2nd, 2024.

Synopsis of Martial Master Asumi

Nito is living a quiet life in high school while taking care of his disabled grandfather, but thanks to a meeting with a classmate who strives to be a professional MMA fighter, his life is about to change. Sometimes you just need to fight! This serious MMA story is an all-out battle!

Kawada previously published Hinomaru Zumou at Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2014 to July 2019 with an epilogue to be released on Shonen Jump+ in October 2019.

The manga inspired an anime series in October 2018 by the studio Gonzo and direction of Yasutaka Yamamoto (Actually, I Am…, Squid Girl 2, Robomasters The Animated Series).
