Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyūtan anime series announced

It was announced today that an anime series adaptation of the novel is in production. Synopsis of Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyūtan

The story revolves around Kaito Takagi, a student with a mafia character and low status. He is an ordinary explorer who hunts slimes every day in the dungeons that appear in Japan. One day, he finds a golden slime that he has never seen before. Perplexed, he still manages to defeat the slime and obtain an extremely rare item called a “servant card”, which can summon mythical beings and has a value of hundreds of millions. Once decided, he is also able to summon Valkyrie, a beautiful warrior maiden. Kaito begins his adventure to go from mobster to hero.
