Neil Druckmann is already thinking about The Last of Us 3

Neil Druckmannthe co-president of Naughty Dog and co-creator of The Last of Usstated at the end of the recently aired documentary “Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part II” that he has a concept for a third game The Last of Us which he describes as exciting.

Neil Druckmann stated:

The first game had such a clear concept of the unconditional love that a father feels for his son. In the second one, once we got to this idea of ​​seeking justice at any cost, justice for those you love, it felt like there was a clean concept here and there’s a direct line from the first game about love. If we never get to do it again, this will be a great ending point. The last bite of the apple, the story is over.

I’ve been thinking, ‘Is there a concept there?’ And I haven’t been able to find this concept for years. But recently that changed. I don’t have a story, but I have this concept, which, to me, is as exciting as I, as exciting as II, is its own thing, but has this direct line to all three. So it looks like there’s probably one more chapter to this story.
