“Renfield” is the modern version of the Dracula story, starring Nicolas Cage and Nicholas Hoult. From today it is available exclusively on SkyShowtime!

The two come together to star in “Renfield“, a modern tale of one of the world’s best-known fantastical beings, Dracula.
Directed by Chris McKay (“The Tomorrow War” and “LEGO Batman Movie”), Nicholas Hoult has the main role of Renfield, the mistreated but loyal assistant to Dracula, the famous vampire, in a narcissistic version played by Nicolas Cage. The assistant is forced to satisfy all of Dracula’s needs and requests, with all the bloodshed that this entails, but he wants more than slavery.
Renfield wants to follow his own path, but he has no idea how. The servant will let himself be inspired by Rebecca (played by Awkwafina), a New Orleans police officer, with principles but some anger issues, determined to take down the city’s most powerful crime family, led by Bellafrancesca Lobo (Shohreh Aghdashloo) and her son Tedward (Ben Schwartz).
From the creative mind of writer and producer Robert Kirkman, responsible for the hugely successful series “The Walking Dead” and one of its spinoffs, “Fear The Walking Dead”; and written by Ryan Ridley (“Ghosted”, “Rick and Morty“).
The film’s cast includes Emmy winner Ben Schwartz, Adrian Martinez (“Focus”), Brandon Scott Jones (“Ghosts,” “The Other Two”), Awkwafina, and Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo (“ House of Saddam”, “House of Sand and Fog”).
