During an interview with Buzzfeedbeside Steven SpielbergO legendary actor revealed what the film who taught him and gave him more experience. For Tom Hanks it was “Nothing in Common” (1986), by Gary Marshall – “the film that I think I really learned the most from”. The actor further adds, “the first time I felt like, oh, wait a minute, there are other things I have to do to make this happen.”

According to Tom Hanks, despite being his fifth film, it was the first time he played a dramatic role.
