“Percy Jackson” is the most recent adaptation of Rick Riordan’s books after the two films from the beginning of the last decade, with Logan LermanBrandon T. Jackson, Alexandra DaddarioJake Abel, Pierce BrosnanKevin McKidd, Leven Rambin, among many others.

The series premiered in December 2023 and has won its place in the hearts of book fans and Disney+ viewers. “Percy Jackson” was very well received, being considered a superior adaptation to the films.

The plot of the first season follows the story of Percy, a 12-year-old boy, who discovers that he is a demigod, son of Poseidon, with powers and has to adjust to a new reality with monsters as a constant threat. However, he is accused by Zeus of having stolen his master bolt and must prove his innocence so that the gods of Olympus do not go to war. To do this, he enlists the help of Grover and Annabeth to go on a mission to the Underworld, recover the lightning and save his mother.

It is known that it will be an adaptation of the second book in the series, “The Sea of ​​Monsters”, where Percy will have to embark on a new mission to recover the Golden Fleece to save Grover and the colony.

It is likely that many of the cast members will return for the new season, however, there will have to be a new search for Zeus. The author of the books, Rick Riordanparticipated in the creation of the series and even made a small cameo in the first episode.
