Have you discovered what’s new about the new One UI on the watch?

According to the website SamMobile, the latest operating system contains an alarm function that allows you to set custom wallpapers for this function. Although the app has previously allowed you to customize other aspects related to the alarm, such as the sound, this is the first time that you can choose the screen you will see when the alarm goes off.

It appears that the app comes with five preloaded backgrounds that you can choose from. However, you will also have the opportunity to use your own images, even the AI-generated wallpapers you created.

If you’re interested in setting a custom background for your alarms, you’ll need to open the Clock app and tap an alarm or create one. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see an option to choose a background. Tap the image and you can select a preloaded wallpaper or choose a photo from your gallery.

There is also an alternative way to do it. To do this, simply tap on the three vertical dots in the right corner. From there, go to Settings and click on Alarm Background.

Samsung has brought back an easier way to enable Chromecast support on Smart View. This function is available in One UI 6.1, and the first smartphones to run this new version of the software are the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 + and Galaxy S24 Ultra. To access this feature, open the Settings app on your phone and navigate to Smart View connected devices.

Then click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the screen and tap Settings. Then choose Labs and activate the Chromecast support button. At this point you should be able to see Chromecast/Google Cast enabled smart displays and smart TVs in the Smart View menu.

This function was present in a similar place in One UI 5.1. However, with the One UI 6.0 update, Samsung has hidden it in even harder-to-find settings. Therefore, it was necessary to install several third-party applications. Also activate Developer Options and go through various obstacles. This is to find the Chromecast support settings.
