Can Yaman is a European superstar with an enviable CV. The Turkish actor and lawyer will soon return to the small screen with the popular series “Viola Come Il Mare”, scheduled to premiere on AXN.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM VIOLA COME IL MARE?
An exciting action series, “Viola Come Il Mare” (in Portuguese “Viola como o mar”) tells us the story of the young Viola Vitale (Francesca Chillemi), a beautiful woman who returns from Paris to Italy, more specifically to Palermo, in search of the father she never knew. Viola is stunning, magnetic, played by an actress who was once Miss Italy.
Her character is particularly lively and optimistic. A career journalist, Viola is a very distinguished young woman who is easily remembered for a very peculiar characteristic: Viola suffers from perception disorder or synesthesia. In practice, and in your case in particular, it means that you are able to associate people’s emotions with colors: a sensorial experience that makes it unique.
Arriving in Palermo, our protagonist starts working as a crime reporter. This is how you end up knowing Francesco Demirinspector of the judicial police responsible for investigations linked to the human trafficking. Demir is equally charismatic and an agent of authority with an impressive perceptive capacity. Impulsive and capable of breaking rules when the case requires it, Francesco will work closely with Viola to solve some of the most difficult cases in his city.
WHO IS FRANCESCO DEMIR’S INTERPRETER, CAN YAMAN?
A great little detail. Francesco Demir is played, nothing less, than by Can Yaman. The star of “Dreamy Bird” (AXN White) He is a Turkish actor famous in Portugal and across Europe and who now sees another series starring him debut on AXN channels.
Can Yaman is a renowned actor and also a philanthropist, with an association dedicated to the youngest and most vulnerable. In fact, the actor came by in January 2024 with a charitable event to benefit his association. This 2022 Italian series shows us the extent of his talent, which is quite comprehensive. Yaman graduated in law and despite his success, he decided to change career and began his career in representation in 2014.
Since then, he has been very successful in genres such as romantic comedy and now, action. “Viola” can also be classified as a crime comedy and its success is largely due to the interactions between the two great leads: Francesca Chillemi It is Can Yaman.
