Main trailer for the live-action My Home Hero movie

My Home Hero began publication in Weekly Young Magazine in May 2017.

The manga revolves around an office worker who has a reliable wife and a daughter at university who can sometimes behave a bit rebellious, but has a happy life in her own way. Until one day he discovers that his daughter was beaten and thus begins his journey into a dangerous world to protect his family.

The animation for its anime series adaptation is from the studio Tezuka Productions (Adachi to Shimamura, Kanojo mo Kanojo), the direction is Takashi Kamei (Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Earthrise), the script is by Kohei Kiyasu (Run with the Wind) and the character design is by Masatsune Noguchi (Hakushon Daimaō 2020). Music is the responsibility of Kenji Kawai (Patlabor, Gundam 00, Ghost in the Shell).
